RECENT NEWS AND UPDATES
2012 Hands-on Symposium: The
Dakota Woodturners Symposium was held April 20-22, 2012 at the Bismarck Career Center on the BSC Campus. Demonstrators and the
projects presented this year were; Tim Heil - tool
handles, Hans Finsterwalder - lidded boxes and Duey Marthaller natural
edged bowls. Participants were pleased with the level of
instruction and the variety of projects to challenge both the beginner
to advanced woodturners. Membership:
2012 membership
renewals are now being accepted. New members are always
welcome. If you have an interested in woodturning please contact
one of the members for more information or just show up at one of our
next meetings. Annual DWT memberships of $20.00
are due on January 1st of each year. Members not renewing by April 1st
will be dropped from the membership list. You may send your renewal
to the PO Box address or bring it to the next meeting.
