The Dakota Woodturners sponsor a Hands-on Woodturning Symposium each year in April. The symposium consists of a Friday evening Meet & Greet of the guest demonstrators followed by two hands-on sessions on Saturday and one on Sunday morning. In each session the demonstrator develops a project, stopping along the way to provide individual instruction to the participants. By the end of each session the participant will have a learned all of the procedures necessary to complete the demonstration project and hopefully a number of new turning techniques.

The turning starts Saturday April 26th at Bismarck Public Schools Career Academy at 8:00AM.
The 2025 DWT Symposium is accepting registrations at this time.
