Members of DWT produce hundreds of spinning tops each year.  At our public demonstrations, the tops are given away to kids.  As each turner has a different method of making this project, there are many unique styles of tops produced. We look forward to being at the Mandan “Art In The Park” each 4th of July and the Capital A’Fair in Bismarck in the month of August. Typically we will provide over 1000 tops to youngsters (and the young at heart) during these two events. It is a yearlong effort to produce that many items and a cherished activity for the DWT.
